Cold mask with an aquatic fragrance
. The main active ingredient in this special mask is algin, a marine polysaccharide derived from brown algae. Thanks to its film-forming properties, it reduces transepidermal water loss (TEWL) and helps retain moisture. This improves the skin’s moisture content and reduces moisture loss. In combination with allantoin, the polysaccharides from brown algae also have soothing properties and help to restore balance to troubled skin. As the mask sets, it creates an occlusive effect, i.e. it seals the skin off from the outside environment, allowing the pores to open and enabling the active ingredient concentrates applied beforehand to be better absorbed by the skin.
After application, the skin feels soft and supple, with an all-round pleasant sensation.
